DIY Card Display Box + Gorgeous Thank You Notes

by Lynn Lilly, Mar 08 2016
My mom always said, nothing shows gratitude quite like a handwritten thank you note. In the day and age of email, facebook and texts it makes it too easy to take the quick way out and send a digital thank you. It is time to get back to the basics people. We teamed up with tinyprints to share our love for hand written thank you notes. From personal to business I love to have a thank you note for every aspect of my life. Who knows my dogs may have personalized thank you notes soon :)
Tinyprints makes it so easy to fall in love with writing thank you notes because of all their gorgeous designs that can easily personalized. I of course, got these for myself but imagine how great of a gift these would be for your mom on Mother's Day, especially if you package them in a handmade card holder.

Personal: I selected the Shining Gratitude Floral Sea Glass Gold Foil Thank Your Notes because I have small obsession with gold foil.

Joint with my Hubby: I selected the Greatly Appreciated White Letter Press Thank You Notes in Midnight because they were not too feminine but still had a great design scheme. I added a touch of color with the Chevron Envelope Liners (lets be real- he will never write a thank you note)

Business: In true Craft Box Girls fashion I selected Precious Flower Mauve Thank You Notes because they were colorful and fresh.

I will use my other favorite tinyprints essentials for completing my thank you notes. The "sparkle" Embosser and the Custom Address Stamp are my absolute favorite ways to add a crafty touch to my notes.

Ok, so you have all these beautiful thank you notes and no where to keep them. Never fear, I have an easy DIY card box holder made from a shoe box with extra fabric, a glue gun and sticky letters.

I used a skinny shoe box that housed a pair of flats, which worked out perfectly for the width. I cut a section from the lid to make a divider and then wrapped the box and the divider in scrap fabric. As I was wrapping it I used hot glue to adhere the fabric to the box. Once I was done I added sticky letters to spell out "Thank You". I re-enforced the letters with hot glue because they were not sticking that well to the fabric.
