5 Spooky Halloween Cocktails

Celebrate Halloween with five spooky cocktails that are not only boo-tiful but terrifyingly good! 

 

Smoking Witches Brew

Ingredients (makes 2): 

  • 2 parts Purple Haze 
  • 1 part lemon juice
  • 1 part ginger ale
  • 4 blackberries
  • 2 dashes of simple syrup
  • 2 small chips of dry ice

Muddle raspberries in the bottom of a shaker. Add all ingredients plus ice and shake for 15 seconds. Strain into cordial glasses. Add a small chip of dry ice for to make your cocktail smoke. Wait to drink the cocktail until the dry ice has completelyd dissolved. 

*Do not touch ice to bare skin. Wear rubber gloves or oven mits when handling dry ice. 

Blood Ritas (makes one)

Ingredients:

  • 1 part tequila
  • 1 part fresh lime juice
  • 1 part ginger ale
  • 1 tsp of maraschino cherry juice
  • 3 maraschino cherries
  • 2 dashes of plum bitters

Add ice, tequila, lime juice, ginger ale and bitters to a shaker. Add 3 cherries to a glass cup. Shake the shaker for 15 seconds. Strain into the glass cup. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of maraschino cherry juice into the cup. 

Ghost Beer Cocktail

Ingredients (makes one):

  • 1/4 cup of spiced rum
  • 1 cup rootbeer
  • Toasted marshmallows

Add spiced rum and rootbeer to a shaker and stir. Pour of over ice and top with toasted marshmallows. 

Test Tube Shots

Ingredients (makes 5 shots)

  • 2 raspberries
  • 1 part Purple Haze
  • 1/2 part lemon juice
  • Test tubes

Muddle raspberries in the bottom of a shaker. Add Purple Haze, lemon juice and ice. Shake and pour into test tubes using a funnel. 

Bourbon Cider

Ingredients (makes 1)

  • 1 part bourbon
  • 2 parts apple cider
  • 1/2 part lemon juice
  • 2 Dashes of simple syrup
