Cricut Maker Review

by Lynn Lilly, Sep 06 2017

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the Cricut Mountain Make-a-thon in Salt Lake City. Cricut hosted a few hundred crafters, influencers, and media for a weekend of crafting and fun! To everyone's surprise, Cricut unveiled three new products, the BrightPad, Easy Press and the star of the show, Cricut Maker! The whole week was magical but it truly became a milestone event when the CEO of Cricut gifted all the attendees a Cricut Maker!!! The room erupted in cheers, hugging, tears and a million creative project ideas running wild!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

Watch my instagram story from the event as well as a live broadcast I hosted on facebook from the Cricut Studio in Utah!

I received my Maker from Cricut last week and wanted to give you a sneak peek of why this machine is truly revolutionary in the world of crafting! Below you will find demo videos of the Cricut Maker writing and cutting cardstock, fabric and delicate crepe paper.

In addition to now owning the Maker, I also have the Cricut Explore 2. The Explore Air 2 is still an excellent cutting machine and I will continue to use it. The major wow factor that has me swooning over the Maker is the rotary blade that cuts hundreds of fabrics, felt, leather and delicate materials like crepe paper. Cricut will also be releasing a knife blade in the coming weeks that has the ability to cut thick materials like balsa wood! It truly is a one of kind revolutionary machine, introducing a level of tech never seen before in the world of crafting!

Want to get your hands on a brand new Cricut Maker? You can easily purchase it here on Amazon Prime: (if you make a purchase through this link, you get pay the same rate but I get a little commission)

Here is a quick reference comparison chart between the Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore Air 2:

Time to check out the Maker in action!

Stay tuned for a lot of creative projects created with my Cricut Maker coming your way in the next week few weeks! Later this month I am going to be giving you an up close look at the brand new Cricut Easy Press!
