If you could have one super power what would it be? If I had a super power, I would have the ability to heal someone or something rapidly.
If you won a million dollars what would you do? A million dollars would do a lot for me! The first thing that came to mind is creating a non-profit day activity center focusing on developing the minds of adults with mental and physical disabilities.
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: My favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry’s Late Night Snack (which is now discontinued).
Favorite Food/Least Favorite Food: Authentic sushi is my fave
Favorite City in the World: The city that never sleeps, New York City!!
Favorite Nail Polish Color: A pretty pale pink with a little glitter
Laura Carrozza was born and raised on the beautiful Jersey shore, but now calls Atlanta home. This little lady (seriously little...she's only 5 ft) graduated with a Bachelor degree in Fashion Design from Lasell College in 2005 and has been designing, crafting and creating (and cracking bad jokes) ever since she could walk. When Laura's not working on handbags, she's running half marathons, traveling the globe, writing DIY blogs for Craft Box Girls and hanging with her loves.
If you could have one super power what would it be? Triple threat super power – sing, act and dance on Broadway!
If you won a million dollars what would you do? Give a bunch to my home-girl, Sallie Mae, who won’t stop bugging me for cash!
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Talenti Salted Caramel
Favorite Food/Least Favorite Food: Oreo Cookies/Sushi
Favorite City in the World: Budapest
Favorite Nail Polish Color: Any shade of pink and red
Many people have called Chan “The Asian Martha Stewart” because, with her arts & crafts skills, she can rapidly come up with amazing ideas and quick fixes in any CBG category. She spends countless hours working in her craft room to come up with hundreds of creative ideas that are unique and fun for her readers. She also has a distinctive passion for food. Her unique specialty is Vietnamese/New American fusion cuisine. She loves cooking easy and flavorful meals, and often on a grand scale to entertain her enormous circle of family and friends. She is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and her recipe book is always evolving as she constantly explores food trends and what’s hot in the culinary world. Chan has been doing this for most of her life but just started her own blog in October of 2013. However, she is already an accomplished blogger because she is passionate about sharing her ideas with the world through her captivating posts. She is excited to have joined our team of Craft Box Girls to do what she does best. If you can’t get enough of her ideas, visit her blog, sweetsbychan.com for more food, DIY and travel adventures.
If you could have one super power what would it be? To fly of course. So I can fly over traffic.
If you won a million dollars what would you do? Buy a white cape-cod style home with a wrap-a-round porch and a separate two-story building for my workshop on 5 acres of land.
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Mint Chocolate Chip with chunks of chocolate.
Favorite Food/Least Favorite Food: Pepperoni Pizza (what did you expect, something no one can pronounce?)/Bean sprouts because they smell like dirty water.

Maria Provenzano
{Title: CBG TV Host // DIY, Food Blogger}I love creating things and feeding people! Baking is my absolute favorite thing. I am self-taught… and mom-taught. My creative inspiration was stirred up at a young age by the most creative, organized, detail-oriented person… my mom. I grew up making crafts and cooking/baking EVERYTHING from scratch. Homemade things make me very happy!
My parents always taught me to make the small things in life memorable and unique, and that is the heart of From Scratch. I want to inspire you to be hands-on with your life, and create something that is unique to you. I guarantee if you start to cook, craft, and create, you will be happy, and so will the people around you.
I grew up in Michigan, studied theatre at Florida State, and now I live in Los Angeles with my husband and beautiful (and crazy) 3-year-old son. 99.9% of the time I am covered in flour, paint, or glitter! When I am not creating, you can find me with my mom tribe, doing yoga, or drinking lots of coffee!
If you could have one superpower what would it be? I would love to be able to fly! It would save so much time.
If you won a million dollars what would you do? I would take my parents on a trip to thank them for everything they have done for me in my life. I would also build myself an amazing craft room :)
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Chocolate Ice Cream is the best thing ever
Favorite Food/Least Favorite Food: My Grandpa's spaghetti and meatballs is my favorite thing to eat ever! My least favorite food is flan or jello. I can't deal with the texture.
Favorite City in the World: I love Napa Valley in Northern California. It is filled with great wine, farm fresh food, and artistic people. The views are breathtaking!
Favorite Nail Polish Color: That's like asking me to pick my favorite child. Having my nails done is one small that that makes me happy in life. If I had to choose just one, I would say Barefoot in Barcelona by OPI, because that is what I wore on my wedding day.
