Two weeks ago we were cheering on UGA and Bama at Georgia Beef Board's Tailgate and Celebrate event. It was a little soggy that day, it actually monsooned... all day. Despite the rainy weather a group of influencers and bloggers enjoyed a relaxing trip from Atlanta via coach bus and then partied the day away in Athens, GA while enjoying delicious beef tailgate bites, learning about the Georgia Beef Board, smiling for photo booth shenanigans and cheering on games in the lounge. A tailgate is not complete without delicious food. In conjunction with the Georgia Beef Board and Zest Catering we came up with 5 delicious tailgate bites. Guests nibbled on Sliders, Beef and Couscous Stuffed Baby Bell Peppers, Beef and Blue Cheese Stuff Mushrooms, Game Day Dip, and Tailgate Meatballs.
The rain didn't stop our fun and everyone left with a few new fun facts about the beef industry in Georgia. Did you know that for every cow that is sold in Georgia $1 is paid and $.50 goes to the Georgia Beef Board for education and awareness programs.
