Lemon Pet Deodorizer
by Chan Vu, Feb 03 2017
Our pets are our babies and we can't live without them. Despite the number of time they ruin our house by chewing up furniture or leaving an unpleasant surprise on the carpet, we still love them dearly. I don't know how to fix chewed up furniture but I have a home remedy on how to get the pet odor out of the carpet. This is my DIY lemon fresh pet deodorizer.
You will need:
- 1 jar with lid
- 1 zip lock bag
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 oz quality lemon essential oil
In a zip lock bag, combine 1 cup baking soda with 1 ounce lemon essential oil. Seal the zip lock bag and shake the baking soda and oil to mix. Be sure you break up the oil and baking soda clumps until the mix is fine. Pour the mix into a jar with a lid for storage.
Each time your pet has an accident, sprinkle the pet deodorizer over the spot. Let it sit for up to 4 hours or overnight. Vacuum the deodorizer and the smell is gone.
TIP: Add a little water with the pet deodorizer and scrub the carpet to remove visible stain.
Say bye-bye to pet odor. With this home remedy you will always have a house filled with a clean, fresh lemon scent.
