We are a husband & wife team that run a lifestyle blog documenting our DIY projects, family life, and creative pursuits. We love making things and we love the challenge of learning new skills. We started the blog as a creative outlet to document our home renovation projects and ideas for cozy, simple living, both for the fun of it and the memories, but also in the hopes of inspiring others to take on even the seemingly toughest DIY projects.
The most challenging part of running a creative blog, especially as a side hobby, is that we have so many fun ideas but not enough time to work on and write about them.

Can you tell us your biggest craft fail?
We made candles and forgot to secure the wicks so they ended up having these weird air bubble craters.
What is one piece of advice would you give someone wanting to start a blog or creative business:
What are you waiting for? If you are passionate about creating and writing then blogging is a wonderful way to express yourself. Ignore your doubts and just start. Your passion and love for what you do will push you to grow in ways you never thought possible.
Where do you get your creative inspiration?
Literally from everything. We find nature and the great outdoors especially inspiring but we also draw creative inspiration from good stories, strolls at IKEA, traveling, playing with our kids, and everything in between.
What are you most excited about for National DIY DAY?
We are most excited about sharing our passion for creativity with others and meeting new people.
In 5 years, what is your goal for you and your blog?
It is our long-term dream to turn blogging into a full-time affair and build our blog into a reputable, fun source for DIY and simple living inspiration.
