Pink Lemonish Cocktail Recipe

by Allison Cawley, Apr 07 2016

Spring cocktails mean bright pops of color and refreshing sips of goodness!  And while I’m typically a vodka kind of girl, I thought I would mix it up with a little bourbon and try something new with a little punch. Enter this tasty little Pink Lemonish Cocktail that’s perfect for dinner parties with friends!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Part Bourbon
  • 2 Parts Lemon Juice
  • 1 Part Cranberry Juice
  • ½ Part Simple Syrup
  • Rosemary Sprig
  • Strawberry
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker mix bourbon, lemon juice, cranberry juice, simple syrup and ice. Shake until blended.
  2. Filter into a glass and garnish with rosemary and a strawberry.
  3. Cheers & Enjoy!

As an added bonus, you could soak the strawberry garnish overnight in bourbon and add it to the bottom of the drink instead.  This will give your drink an added “umph”!

This is a great cocktail to serve on a nice spring afternoon as guests arrive for dinner.  I like the combination of sweet and tangy from the lemon and simple syrup, and these flavors work wonderfully with the rosemary to bring out the bourbon too!  Their colorful hue brings a bit of cheer, and the bourbon will definitely kick things off on the right foot!

So the next time you’re ready to serve some refreshing cocktails, try this Pink Lemonish Cocktail for a bit of whimsy fun, and of course, you can check out additional recipes here on Craft Box Girls, or on PeachfullyChic.com!

XO,

Allie
