I love Easter decorations so much! I am not sure if it is because I usually share my birthday weekend with Easter or it is a sign that spring is in bloom! I am excited to partner with Eclectic, makers of Unicorn SPiT and E6000 to create an easy Bunny Butt Door Hanger! This sign is great for a pop of seasonal decoration indoors as well as your front door.
Materials:
- Wood Bunny Sign
- Unicorn SPiT in White Ning
- E6000 White (great for spring and Easter projects)
- 4" White Pom Pom
- Ribbon
- Paint Brush
- Water
- Floral Wire
- Cup
- Scissor
*If you plan to put your sign outdoor seal the Bunny with a non-water based sealant.
Unicorn SPiT is available at Michaels, Walmart and a variety of other craft stores. You can find E6000 pretty much anywhere adhesives are sold.
Fun Fact: Unicorn SPiT has a jasmine scent which give off relaxation vibes! Not to mention it is multi-surface and fast drying!
Directions:
- Pour the Unicorn SPiT into a cup, add a little bit of water to dilute and create a stain. The more water you add the more transparent the stain will be.
- Use a paint brush to apply the stain to the wood bunny. I used a paper towel to wipe away excess stain that did not absorb into the wood. I love how you can slightly see the wood grain through the stain.
- If you plan to display your sign outdoors I recommend sealing it with a non-water based sealant prior to the following steps.
- Once the bunny is dry use E6000 White to adhere the pom pom to the bunny.
- Use ribbon to create a bow and glue it to the bunny collar.
- Glue an extra piece of ribbon to the back of the bunny to make a hanger.
TADA! In less than 20 minutes you have an Easter Front Door Hanger!!
