I am continuing my weekly facebook live broadcasts on the Crayola Facebook Page! This week we are celebrating Shark Week with 3 shark inspired crafts for the whole family!
Shop all the supplies I am using for today's projects at Crayola.com
Project 1: Shark Shooter Game
Materials:
- Crayola Construction Paper
- Crayola Glue
- Crayola Markers
- Scissors
- Tissue Box
- Pencil
- Googley Eyes
Directions:
- Use an empty tissue box and wrap the outside with blue construction paper.
- Cut white teeth and a red mouth from construction paper that fits around the tissue box opening. Glue in place on the outside of the opening.
- Cut shark fins and a tail from blue construction paper and glue to the sides and back of the tissue box.
- Add google eyes or draw eyes with markers.
- Take a scrap of white paper and write a fun message. Glue this message on the inside bottom of the box so you can see it through the mouth.
- Ball up scraps of paper that will be the shooters. Take turns shooting the paper through the mouth of the shark.
Play this game every night of shark week and keep a tally to see who gets the most in the shark mouth!
Project 2: Shark Hats
Materials:
- Crayola Construction Paper
- Crayola Markers
- Crayola Glue
- Scissors
Directions:
- If you are using a large sheet of construction paper fold it into a triangle or if you are using a small sheet cut out two triangles.
- Cut 2 zigzag strips the length of one of the sides of the triangle.
- Glue the teeth to the bottom insides of the triangles.
- Cut two fins and glue on the sides of the triangles.
- Leave the teeth side of the triangle open and glue the other two sides.
- Draw on eyes.
- Put the hat on your head through the teeth opening. Depending on the size of the family member's head you might need to use bobby pins to hold it in place
Make one of everyone in the family to wear when you watch shark week!
