When it comes to tying the knot, it's got to be a prerequisite to have an awesome Bachelorette Party with your best gal pals to celebrate (am I right!?). So when it's time to spice things up a bit, take a play from from this Tequila Inspired Bachelorette Party!
Using my new favorite tequila, Goza Tequila, I'm walking you through the top 4 things you'll need to throw an amazing bachelorette party!1. COCKTAILS ...duh ;)
Try switching things up with a Tequila Sunrise Spritz. Mix up 3 oz of Orange Juice, 1.5 oz of Goza Tequila Blanco, 0.5 oz of Grenadine, a squeeze of fresh lime juice, and top things off with a splash of sparkling water. It will have hints of the traditional Tequila Sunrise, but with a little more zest and a lighter more refreshing taste.
2. SNACKS
In the spirit of tequila, make sure you've provided food so you're not enjoying those cocktails on an empty stomach. I've got a spicy little kick with fun Mexican Popcorn that will go perfectly with your tequila drinks. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, chili powder, ground cumin, and a pinch of pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Sprinkle over popcorn and mix around before serving. Optionally you can add some crumbled goat cheese and a zest of lime! You'll have the perfect amount of kick and flavor to spice things up!
3. MORE COCKTAILS ...well sort of ;)
If you really want to take things to the next level and make sure it's a night to remember (or will you???), bring on the tequila shots! Jell-o Tequila shots that is. Making Jell-o shots with Goza Tequila is a great because you can prep these in advance of the party... which means less time in the kitchen and more time having fun!
Grab a box of Jell-o powder (we used strawberry - yum!), 1 cup of boiling water, and 1 cup of ice cold Goza Tequila. Mix the boiling water and the Jell-o powder until everything is completely dissolved , then continue mixing for an extra minute. Add in the super cold Goza Tequila and stir it up. Pour the mixture into small plastic shooters or condiment cups. Leave the Jell-o tequila shots in the fridge to cool until a gelatin has formed.... Then enjoy at the party!
4. BACHELORETTE PARTY SUPPLIES & DECOR
Make sure you've got plenty of decorations... and don't forget the "Bride To Be" Sash, crown, and anything else that would help set the perfect attention on the blushing bride.
This can be as simple or complex as you would like. If it's a Tequila theme like our party, you might want to add in some margarita jelly beans or a souvenir shot glass. We included ring pops, band-aids, hand sanitizer, chapstick, hair ties, mints, shout wipes, and a slew of other goodies in our small drawstring tote. Just think about things that the bride or bachelorette party may need to "survive" the crazy fun times that will fall into place during a tequila themed bachelorette party! Bonus points if it's something that the bridal party can use as an emergency care kit for the wedding too!
So switch things up and present that "Bride to Be" girl friend with an amazing Tequila themed
