Chocolate chip mint is one of my favorite ice cream favors and Oreos are my favorite cookie so naturally this pie recipe is a match made in easy no-bake heaven!
- 28 whole mint Oreos
- 6 whole Spring Oreos
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 4 cups mint chocolate chip ice cream
- 4 ounces of Cool Whip (half a normal sized pack)
- 8 inch glass pie dish
- Place 28 whole mint Oreo cookies in a zip lock bag and push out all the air. Roll over cookies with a rolling pink to crush them. The final product should be a dirt like mixture.
- Remove 2 tablespoons of crushed Oreos from the bag and set aside.
- Add the melted butter to the crushed cookies in the zip lock bag. Seal bag and mix to coat the cookies.
- Press the mixture into the pie dish making about 1/8 inch thick. Once done refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Use an electric mixer to combine Cool Whip and ice cream and mix until smooth.
- Fill the pie crust with the ice cream mixture.
- Take the remaining cookie crumbs and sprinkle on the top. Add the Spring Oreos for decoration.
- Place pie in the freezer for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Remove the pie from the freezer about 10 minutes prior to serving.
