Watercolor has quickly grown to be one of my passions and biggest creative outlets. I am loving Marabu Creative USA's new Graphix Aqua Inks and Aqua Pens. The possibilities are endless! The colors are so vibrant that you can paint brilliant landscapes and designs or you can add a little water to get a pastel pigment. I demonstrate the difference in the pigments in the video below!
I just started using Aqua Pens and they are great! For this project, I used them to add outlines to define my florals, but if you watched the Watercolor Flower Mobile video you saw how we used them to blend and create beautiful highlights on the flowers. The possibilities are endless.
Using a simple beger flower painting technique I was able to create beautiful place cards using Joggles Mixed Media Art Supplies watercolor paper tags in minutes! How gorgeous are these for a wedding or shower!
Watch and see how easy they are to make!
Materials:
- Graphix Aqua Inks in Cyan, Reseda, Magenta, Vermilion, Lemon and Dark Violet
- Graphix Aqua Pens
- Graphix Fineliners
- Watercolor Paper Tags by Joggles

- Ribbon
- Faux Flowers (optional flair)
Once you nail this simple painting technique you can create all kinds of watercolor art!
