A few weeks ago the managing editor of Prime Publishing and FaveCrafts reached out about working with them on the Humans That Yarn Project created by the Craft Yarn Council. The goal of the project is to showcase all the ways yarn is used traditionally and non-traditionally and the different people who create them. The project gives an incredibly interesting account from a group of very different humans who consider themselves yarnist. The website also offers videos for beginners to start their journey of working with yarn.
Check out a video below and keep scrolling to see how I am helping showcase yarn in my own little way!
I am not a knitter or a crocheter but I do love using yarn in all types of craft projects. I was excited to work with FaveCrafts and contribute a simple but stylish project to the movement.
I took a white tote back, embellished it by piping with yarn, added a fabric accent and tied it all together with yarn braided tassels and poms. To see the full how-to check out the post on FaveCrafts.com.
Check out the collection of projects FaveCrafts pulled together to celebrate the project.
Don't forget to check out the Humans That Yarn website and FaveCrafts and share your yarn projects using #humansthatyarn

This was a collaboration with Favecrafts but all opinions and thoughts are my own!
