Now that Christmas is over, are you just now realizing that you have not given New Years Eve a second thought? Never fear, glitter is here to save the day. Invite a few friends over and create a party that will pop your celebration into the new year with a sparkle! Enjoy these easy DIY ideas!
Go with desserts and snacks that will have a "pop" theme. Serve popcorn in cones created with gitter scrapbook paper. Make homemade pop tarts and server fun candy like blow pops, pop rocks or bubble gum.
Serve homemade or store bought cupcakes in plastic martini cups. Easy to eat and creative presentation!
Add a little sparkle to you wine bottles and glassware!
Glitter Wine/Champagne Bottles: Cover the label and top wrapper with painters tape. Spray the bottle with adhesive glue and heavily sprinkle glitter. Let the bottle dry for 10-15 and then spray with Mod Podge Clear Finishing Spray.
Glitter Glassware: Cover the opening of your glass with painter’s tape to keep glitter out of the interior. Create a design on the glass with double sided tape. Sprinkle glitter over the tape. Shake off excesses glitter. Use a clean paper towel and an all purpose spray to remove excess glitter around the design. Remove the painter’s tape. Once you are finished with the glitter glasses remove the double sided tape and wash. Your glass will be back to it’s original format.
Toast the night with mini single serve bottles of champagne with paper straws and flags cute of our glitter scrapbook paper.
Pop in to 2016 with push pop confetti bombs. Cover a plastic cupcake push pop with glitter scrapbook paper and fill with tissue paper confetti.
Add the finishing touches with a scrapbook paper pendent banner, NYE wood letters covered with glitter scrapbook paper, vases with silver and gold christmas balls and fill vases with gold and silver tissue paper.
