Tailgate Meatballs with Georgia Beef

Tailgate Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • pitch of salt and pepper
BBQ Sauce Ingredients:
  • 3 4 cup ketchup
  • 1 2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • pinch of ground cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. On a hot skillet, cook ground beef with garlic. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Drain oil well.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, beef, egg and butter. Stir well and roll meatballs into 1 inch rounds. 
  4. Bake the meatballs on a nonstick baking pan for 15 minutes.
  5. In a small sauce pan, combine BBQ sauce ingredients.  Cook on medium low heat. Stir well while simmering on low heat for 15 minutes. 
  6. When meatballs are done, dip the meatballs in the BBQ sauce and serve.
