Lazy Girl Garlic Knots

by Chan Vu, Sep 04 2015
We've all had those days when cooking dinner sounds like a long and drawn out process. By the time you get home from work, the kids are starving. You want your family to have a good meal but in half the time. What's a girl to do?
You've already mastered a quick an easy spaghetti dinner but what about the garlic knots the kids love so much? You can't have pasta without warm and chewy garlic knots. Besides, garlic knots go well with everything on Italian night.
Believe it or not, you can make fresh baked garlic knots in under 15 minutes.
Lazy Girl Garlic Knots
Ingredients:
  • fresh pizza dough
  • olive oil
  • butter spray
  • garlic salt
  • dried parsley leaves
  • light flour for handling dough

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  Take fresh pizza dough from your local grocery store and dust it with flour for easy handling. Pinch a small golf ball size dough and rub it together like you are building a fire with your hands. Extend the dough just enough to tie a knot. Place the dough on a baking pan. Do this until all the dough are in knots. Then drizzle olive oil over the knots. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden on top. When done, spray knots with butter spray. Sprinkle a dash of garlic salt and crush dried parsley leaves over the garlic knots. Serve and enjoy.
