If I were to pick between vodka and tequila then tequila would win by a milestone. After all, what other spirits come with its own entourage? I'm talking about tequila's BFF, lime and sea salt. Cheers to that! So if you are a tequila lover, skip the vodka and pass the tequila at your next weekend bash.
Skip the Vodka Pass the Tequila

Not sure what to make? Here are three popular vodka cocktails that has a whole new attitude when paired with my new favorite tequila, Goza Tequila. The look may be the same but taste just turned up a few notches. Don't believe me? Try for yourself.
-Bloody Maria-
Bloody Mary has nothing on this Bloody Maria. To make this sassy Bloody Maria, first rub lime around the glass rim and dip the glass in sea salt. Add ice cubes and set aside. In a separate glass, combine 4 oz of Bloody Mary mix, 1.5 oz Goza Tequila Blanco, and 2 dashes of hot sauce. Stir well and pour it into the salted glass. Garnish with a fresh celery stalk and a wedge of lime. Caliente!
-Cosmo-Rita-
Another sexy drink is Cosmopolitan's distant cousin, Cosmo-Rita. Both drinks have the same sweet and tart taste but Cosmo-Rita is more fun because it's served with tequila. To make this, shake ice with 1 oz of Goza Tequila Blanco, 2 oz cranberry juice, juice of half a lime, and half an ounce of triple sec for a citrus punch. Serve in a martini glass and garnish with a twist of lime zest.
-Mayan Mule-
The Moscow Mule is so popular right now. This traditional Russian favorite has gone rogue when I turned it into a Mayan Mule. Mix 3 oz of ginger beer with juice of half a lime, 1.5 oz Goza Tequila Reposado and 2 dashes of Angostura bitter. Serve it with plenty of ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime.
If you are looking for something fresh and unique to mix with tequila, I've got you covered. Here are two original cocktails I created using only Goza Tequila. It's been tested in my circle of friends and both cocktails are approved by people who know cocktails.
-Go Go Goza-
This is my personal favorite because it has the refreshing lemongrass flavor mixed in a sweet, sour and gingery concoction. It is now my go-to drink for any occasion. Go Go Goza! To make this, first rub lime around the glass rim and dip the glass in roasted sea salt. Add ice and set aside. In a separate glass, muddle chopped lemongrass stalks with 1 tablespoon of simple syrup and juice of half a lime. Strain the juice into the prepared glass. Add 1 oz of Goza Tequila Reposado, 2 oz ginger ale, and 2 oz hard lemonade. Stir and garnish with a fresh stalk of lemongrass and mint leaves. I'm telling you, this stuff is so good!
-Goza Boozie Pop-
This boozie cocktail is perfect for the dog days of summer that is upon us. It has the sweet and exotic flavors of guava, the mother fruit of Mexico and South America. It's sweet and bold when combined with Goza Tequila and a refreshing lime pop. Enjoy this at the pool or on the front porch this summer. To make this, combine 2 oz guava nectar, half an ounce of triple sec, 1 oz Goza Tequila Blanco into a short glass. Stir and add plenty of crushed ice. Stick a lime pop into the cocktail and garnish with mint leaves. To enjoy this Goza Boozie Pop, sip a little and lick a little or stir the lime pop until it fuses with the cocktail. Either way you drink it, it's the perfect summer adult beverage!
