Italian Baked Tilapia

Italian Baked Tilapia
  • 2 tilapia filets, thawed
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 white onion, minced
  • 1/8 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/8 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/8 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/8 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. thyme
  • -salt and pepper, to taste
Heat one tablespoon of olive oil on the stove on medium heat. Cook the onions until soft and translucent, about 10 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 375 F and prepare the fish. Combine all of the seasonings in a bowl. Pour 1/2 of the remaining olive oil on each filet. Divide the seasoning mixture between each fish. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Top with the onions and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. 
Serve alongside sweet potato fries, or serve with vegetables, like broccoli or brussels sprouts. Enjoy!
