About a year ago we moved my hubby's home office to the basement and dedicated his old office to house Lily's growing collection of toys. I wanted to design it right away but life, work and all the things got in the way. One year later it is finally done! Check out Lily's brand new arts and crafts themed playroom!
THE DETAILS
Rainbow Wall: The wall is created from adhesive vinyl. I found large rolls at https://vinylpacks.com/
Paint Pallet Sign: My friend David cut the shape for me, I painted it white, cut paint spatter shapes from Cricut Design space on the scraps of the left over vinyl from the rainbow wall.
Paint Brush Mural: I found the paint brushes on Amazon and painted them with Colorshot Spray Paint and adhered them to the wall with permanent glue dots.
Art Display: I added an adhesive magnet chalkboard to display Lily's artwork as well as a wood letters that spell out "CREATE" on separate wall and hung a few of her pieces of artwork.
Fun Details: I took two of the Ikea shelves I had and made them storage for all her art projects. On the top of the shelves I added plastic paint buckets and filled them markers, pom poms and Giant Crayola Crayons (that are actual working crayons)
Future & Fixings: I got two hand print rugs for the center of the room and got her a mini double dish couch fro target to create a reading nook.
Play Kitchen and Laundry set are both from Kid Kraft! They have a variety of really fun play furniture!
Ice Cream Truck is from Target and the Doll House is from Pottery Barn.
Lily absolutely loved everything about her playroom! It is definitely her happy place!
Next up on the reveal list is the kitchen renovation, baby nursery and hopefully dining room wallpaper!
