Football Pizza Pockets

This fun football themed recipe will be a touchdown with your guests! 

Makes 8 pieces
 
Ingredients: 
 
2 ready to bake rolled pie crust
3 cups of pizza sauce
1 cup of shredded cheese
1 cup of pepperoni (sliced in half)
Directions:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit 
  2. Grease pan
  3. Flour a clean dry surface. Flour your rolling pin
  4. Roll out pie crust
  5. Cut a football template out of cardstock paper
  6. Place football cut out on the pie dough. Trace with a sharp knife to create the cut out.
  7. Remove pie dough surrounding cut outs. 
  8. Spread sauce on half the cut outs. Add pepperoni and cheese. 
  9. Take the second half of the pie dough cut outs and place on top of the the other half of the pie dough cut outs. 
  10. Use a fork to seal the edges. 
  11. Use your sharp knife to lightly scrape the laces into the top of the pie dough. Be careful to not cut too deep. 
  12. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until tops are golden brown. 
  13. Use remaining sauce as dipping sauce.
