Designing the perfect table for brunch, holidays or just a week night dinner is one of my biggest passions! Today I am sharing my inspiration for an Easter brunch table!
Before you start planning your table design think about the following:
- Determine the influence, theme and color scheme. You might be influenced by a pattern on a napkin or a piece of art.
- Think about designing your table as one creative experience. Create a central design theme in the center of the table and that flows into a design experience at each place setting.
- Think outside the box when selecting your design elements. You can use traditional items like flowers but incorporate them with mason jars, water pitchers or drinking glasses. Utilize other household items like cake stands, wheat grass, fruit, sticks, eggs, sweets, etc.
- Consider dimensions when you are creating your design. Layer your plates with linen napkins and stack items in your center design.
